What comes with the “frame only” step and repeat backdrop?

The package includes the adjustable telescopic frame (uprights, crossbars, and base plates). No printed banner or fabric is included.

What banner materials and finishing work with this frame?

Use a banner with top and bottom pole pockets (recommended 3” finished pockets). Dye-sub fabric (stretch/poly knit) is preferred for smooth, glare-free photos; 13–15 oz vinyl can work but is heavier and may curl. Grommet-only finishing is not compatible without adapters.

What size graphic should I order for this frame?

Match the graphic to the frame’s set size and add top/bottom 3” pole pockets. Typical frames adjust roughly 5–10 ft wide and 3–8 ft tall; a common setup is an 8’ x 8’ graphic with 3” pockets. Always size to your intended display width/height.

How is the frame assembled, do I need tools?

No tools. Slide the telescopic tubes to length, lock with hand-tightened knobs, and seat them on the weighted bases. Feed the crossbars through the banner’s pole pockets, then raise to height. Typical setup time is about 10–15 minutes for one person.

Is this frame suitable for outdoor use?

It’s designed for indoor use. If used outdoors, only in calm conditions with heavy sandbags on each base. Do not use in wind; large graphics act like a sail and can tip the frame.

What are the frame materials and weight capacity?

Anodized aluminum telescopic tubing with steel base plates. It’s built to support standard fabric step-and-repeat graphics; avoid overly heavy media. For best results, use lightweight fabric or mid-weight vinyl and keep crossbars within recommended span.

Does this meet venue fire-safety requirements?

The metal frame is non-combustible; compliance usually concerns the graphic. Choose a banner material rated flame resistant (e.g., NFPA 701) if your venue requires it and keep documentation on hand.
