What’s the difference between White Static Cling and Clear Static Cling?

White Static Cling is an opaque vinyl that makes colors look solid and readable against any background. Clear Static Cling is transparent; colors appear semi‑transparent and are best on light backgrounds or when you want a see‑through look.

Do these window clings use adhesive, and will they leave residue?

No adhesive, these are PVC static‑cling vinyl that holds to smooth, non‑porous surfaces with static. They remove cleanly with no sticky residue.

Can I mount the cling inside the window so it reads correctly from outside?

By default these are back‑cling prints. For inside‑glass viewing that reads correctly outside, choose Clear Static Cling and supply mirrored artwork; otherwise choose White Static Cling and mount outside.

Are the clings reusable, and how should I store them?

Yes, they’re removable and reusable if kept clean. Reapply to the original release liner (or a smooth plastic sheet), store flat, and keep dust and lint off the cling side.

What surfaces do they stick to, and what won’t work?

They cling to clean, smooth, non‑porous surfaces like glass, mirrors, and glossy plastics. They don’t adhere well to textured glass, painted walls, low‑energy plastics, or dirty/porous surfaces.

What sizes and quantities are available, and can I get custom shapes?

Standard sizes include 3"×3" up to 53"×30". Quantities run 10 to 100. These are produced as squares/rectangles, no contour or die‑cut shapes in this configuration.

How are colors handled on clear material, will they be opaque?

Printing is full‑color CMYK. On Clear Static Cling, colors print semi‑transparent because there’s no white backing; for solid, high‑contrast color choose White Static Cling.

Are they for indoor or outdoor use?

Best for indoor windows or short‑term, mild outdoor conditions on smooth glass. Extreme temperatures, wind, and wet/dirty glass can reduce hold.

How do I install them without bubbles, and can I reposition them?

Clean the glass, then use a light mist of water with a drop of mild soap, place the cling, and squeegee from center out. Lift and re‑wet to reposition as needed.

What file setup do you need, and do I include bleed?

Upload a single “Front Side” file at final size, CMYK, 150–300 dpi. Include 0.125" bleed on all sides and keep critical text 0.125" inside the trim.

What’s the production turnaround?

Choose 3 Business Days or 2 Business Days. Turnaround starts after print‑ready file approval and order payment.

Will the cling cover fully block what’s behind it?

White Static Cling provides better opacity; Clear Static Cling remains see‑through. For maximum privacy or bold color, select White Static Cling.
