What thickness are these car magnets and are they made for outdoor use?

They’re 30pt outdoor magnetic sheeting (approx. 0.030″ thick), suitable for vehicle and exterior use.

Will these magnets stick to all vehicles?

No. They adhere to ferrous steel panels. They won’t stick to aluminum, fiberglass, carbon fiber, or plastic body panels; test your panel with a household magnet first.

What sizes are available, and can I order a custom size?

Standard sizes: 12″ x 18″, 12″ x 24″, and 18″ x 24″. Custom sizes aren’t listed in the options; contact us if you need a different size.

Are the magnets printed full color and on both sides?

They’re printed full color on the front only (single-sided). The back is the magnetic side.

What print file specs should I use (bleed, safe area, resolution)?

Provide 300 dpi CMYK artwork with 0.125″ bleed on all sides; keep critical text/logos at least 0.25″ from the edge.

How do I install car magnets so they stay put and don’t harm the paint?

Clean and dry both the vehicle panel and magnet; place on a flat, smooth steel area; avoid seams, curves, and trim; press from center outward. Remove periodically to clean trapped dust and moisture.

Are these okay in rain and at highway speeds? What about car washes?

Normal rain is fine when properly installed on a flat steel panel. Remove before automated or high-pressure car washes. Inspect after severe weather.

How do I clean and store the magnets?

Hand-wash with mild soap and water; dry completely before reapplying. Store flat (magnet-to-metal or magnet-to-magnet with a sheet between), away from heat and direct sun.

What’s the production turnaround and order quantities?

Production is 5–7 business days, plus shipping time. Quantities available: 1 to 50 per order.

Do you offer rounded corners, and do they help with wind lift?

Rounded corners aren’t listed in the options. Rounded edges can reduce edge lift on moving vehicles; ask us if you need that finishing.
