Which paper stock should I pick, paper vs. cardstock?

Paper (70 lb uncoated, 80 lb, 100 lb) feels lighter and is good for multi-page or folded handouts. Cardstock (10 pt, 14 pt uncoated/coated, 16 pt) is sturdier for premium single or bi-fold menus. Uncoated is best for writing; coated/UV is more spill- and scuff-resistant.

What coatings do you offer, and how do they affect durability and writing?

Options include Gloss or Matte on both sides, plus High Gloss UV (front-only or both sides on select stocks). Gloss/UV boost color and stain resistance but are not pen-friendly; Matte is lower glare; uncoated writes best. Heavy UV can crack on tight folds, choose non-UV for fold-heavy designs.

Can these menus be folded, and which folds fit which sizes?

Folding options vary by size. Most sizes offer Half, Tri (Letter), Z, or Accordion folds; some sizes are limited to No Fold or Half Fold; 11″ x 17″ is No Fold only. When folding, we score to reduce cracking on thicker stocks.

Do you print double-sided, or is the back blank?

You can choose Full Color Front with a Blank Back or Full Color on Both Sides. If you need wine lists or prix fixe on the reverse, select double-sided.

How fast can I get Valentine’s menus printed?

Are the inks and coatings food-safe for restaurant use?
