Regular Suede Business Cards FAQs

What exactly is the “suede” on these cards, what are they made from and how do they feel?

They’re printed on 13pt Smooth Suede stock: a coated paper with a soft-touch (suede-like) matte laminate. It feels velvety, reduces glare and fingerprints, and is about 0.013" thick (roughly 330 gsm).

Can I add Spot UV or foil, and can they be used together?

Yes. Spot UV is available on one side only; it creates glossy highlights over the suede matte. Foil stamping can be on the front or both sides, in Gold, Silver, or Black. You can combine CMYK print with Spot UV and/or foil; foil colors are chosen per side when applicable.

How should I set up files for CMYK, Spot UV, and foil?

Size: 3.5" x 2" with 0.125" bleed on all sides; keep text 0.125" inside the trim. Color: CMYK, 300 dpi. Provide separate vector mask files for Spot UV and foil (100% K/black shapes, no gradients). Minimum line weight ~0.5 pt and solid fills work best for specialty finishes.

Are rounded corners available, and what corner radii can I choose?

Yes, die-cut corners in 3mm or 6mm radii. Options are shown per quantity (250/500/1000) and are cut after finishing. Keep critical artwork at least 0.125" from corner arcs; heavy UV or foil right on the edge is not recommended.

What are the standard specs, size, quantity, and printing method?

Size is standard 3.5" x 2". Quantities offered: 250, 500, or 1000. Printing is 2-sided full-color offset by default; you can upload different front and back files or leave the back blank.
