Our custom printed face masks are available in 100% sub-silk material in one size fits all (8.5″ x 4.7″ / 22cm x 12cm) with elastic ear loops. These are currently the CDC recommended masks for use in public areas during the Coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic.

These custom printed face masks are printed with your designs and branding using digital thermal transfer presses making the colors bright without losing any durability. As these masks are designed to wear on your face there must not be any problems with moisture, or absorbency and our printing process does not effect the protection of the mask which includes PM2.5 filtering.

CDC recommends the use of fabric surface masks in public places where it is difficult to maintain other social distancing measures (e.g. grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas with high residential transmission rates. The CDC also recommends the use of simple fabric face masks to slow the spread of coronavirus and to help people who may have the virus and do not know they may transmit it to others. Silk face masks should not be used on young children under 2 years of age, on people who have difficulty breathing or who are unconscious, disabled or unable to remove the mask without assistance. These silk face masks are not N-95 or surgical respirators. They are rated for dust, wind, pollen & PM2.5 airborne particles. Should printed silk masks be washed regularly or otherwise cleaned? Yes, they should be washed regularly, depending on how often they are used. One washing machine is sufficient for proper washing of facial surfaces. These masks can be washed at temperatures of up to 140?F to maintain mask hygiene.

What material are the masks made from and how is the artwork printed?

They use an 8.5" x 4.7" Sub-Silk polyester panel, printed edge-to-edge via dye-sublimation (heat-infused inks). This yields soft, breathable fabric with durable, colorfast graphics that won’t crack or peel.

Do these masks accept filters, and what does HEPA H-11 mean?

Yes, optional HEPA H-11 filter packs are available (100/200/500). H-11 refers to an efficiency class commonly rated around 95% at the most penetrating particle size in lab conditions. Filters are not washable; replace regularly. Masks and filters are not certified respirators or medical devices.

What are the size and print area specs I should design to?

Final panel is 8.5" x 4.7". Provide full-bleed art to 8.7" x 4.9" and keep critical elements at least 0.125" from all edges as a safe margin to account for trim and sewing tolerances.

Which file formats and color settings should I use?

Submit vector PDF/AI or high-res raster (300 dpi at full size). Use CMYK color mode, embed/outline all fonts, and include 0.125" bleed. Rasterize effects and expand strokes to avoid RIP issues.

Are these masks medical grade or compliant with respirator standards?

No. They are fabric face coverings for general use and are not NIOSH-certified, not surgical masks, and not intended as PPE. No claims are made for disease prevention or OSHA/NIOSH compliance.

How should I wash the masks and handle the filters?

Machine wash cold, gentle cycle; air dry or tumble low. Do not bleach or iron directly on print. Do not wash filters, dispose and replace as needed based on use and environment.

What is the minimum order, and how fast can you produce them?

Minimum is 100 units; standard lead time is 7 business days. A 5-business-day rush is available (10% surcharge). Lead times begin after artwork approval and payment; shipping time is additional.

Can you match Pantone colors exactly or print metallic/neon effects?

Pantone matches are approximated in CMYK dye-sublimation; exact PMS or metallic/neon inks aren’t achievable on this polyester fabric. Expect slight shifts versus on-screen RGB colors.

How is pricing structured for quantities and filter options?

Tiered unit pricing applies at 100–5000 pieces. Filters are optional add-ons priced per pack (100/200/500). Choosing the 5-day rush adds 10% to the current order total.
