Disposable Restaurant Menus FAQs

What paper stock should I choose for single‑use menus?

For quick, disposable use, 70 lb Uncoated or 80/100 lb paper works well. Choose uncoated if you want guests or staff to write on them; pick coated (gloss or matte) for a smoother look and better smudge resistance. Heavier 10/14/16 pt cardstocks are sturdier when menus are handled repeatedly in a day.

Do you offer gloss, matte, or UV coating, and on which stocks?

Yes. 80 lb and 100 lb papers offer gloss or matte on both sides (100 lb also allows High Gloss UV on both sides). Cardstocks (10/14/16 pt) can be gloss or matte, or upgraded to High Gloss UV on the front only (gloss back) or on both sides. Uncoated stocks (70 lb, 14 pt Uncoated) do not receive coating.

What sizes and folding options are available?

Sizes include 4.25″ x 11″, 5.5″ x 8.5″, 11″ x 8.5″, 14″ x 8.5″, 9″ x 12″, and 11″ x 17″. Folding options vary by size: most sizes can be Half, Tri (letter), Z, or Accordion folded; 4.25″ x 11″ specifically supports Half Fold; some sizes (e.g., 5.5″ x 8.5″ and 11″ x 17″) are offered flat only.

Can you print both sides, and does that affect ordering?

Yes, choose Full Color Front with a blank back, or Full Color on both sides. You can order from 25 up to 50,000 menus in standard quantity breaks. Double‑sided printing uses the same stocks and finishes listed.

How fast can you produce disposable menus?

Turnarounds include Same Day, Next Business Day, and 5 Business Days. Availability depends on the options selected and production cutoff times.

Are these menus writable or wipe‑resistant?

Uncoated stocks are easiest to write on with pens or pencils. Coated and High Gloss UV options are more smudge‑ and moisture‑resistant but are harder to write on and best for clean, disposable handouts that won’t be marked.
